Car Formula UGM Ready to Compete in Japan

Yogyakarta - After the race economical fuel Shell Eco-marathon in Malaysia and holds for technical innovation, the University of Gadjah Mada University will follow the class Formula Student competition cars in Japan.

Team Milky Way which is a combination of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering students who will follow this competition. The team managed to make 350 cc formula car with the name of the Milky Way to follow the SAE Formula Student competition 9th of Japan 2011.

The competition is organized by the Japan Society of Automotive Engineers (JSAE). The competition will be held on 5 to 9 September 2011 in ECOPA (Ogasayama Sports Park) Japan.

The launching is done in Koesnadi Hardjasoemantri House Cultural Center, University of Gadjah Mada (UGM), in Bulaksumur, Yogyakarta on Tuesday (7/19/2011) by Rector Prof. Ir Sudjarwadi, MSc, PhD.

Milky Way is a formula car made in the Milky Way GMU team which was selected as the sole representative of Indonesia who will compete in the international competition. Milky Way 86 teams will compete with prestigious universities from several countries. Some of them are China, India, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Australia and Thailand.

Lamborghini Perkenalkan Suspensi Contekan F1
