Opel Ampera "Car of The Year 2012"

He has clearly prevailed on Volkswagen up! and Ford Focus.

It is the Opel Ampera, the winner of "Car of the Year 2012", the most important and prestigious international recognition accorded to production cars. The seven finalists were Edition 2012 Volkswagen up!, Toyota Yaris, the Citroen DS5, the Ford Focus, the Range Rover Evoque, Fiat Panda and Opel Ampera / Chevy Volt. 59 judges participated in the vote, that international journalists specialized in the automotive world, coming from 23 European countries.

The verdict of the jury of international journalists have thus chosen as early as last year, an ecological model that is powered by electricity. To win the title of "Car of the Year" in 2011 was in fact the electric Nissan Leaf.

Opel Astra GTC Review and Concept

In recent months we have followed the Opel test along the 20 km of the Nurburgring track, where the technicians were also involved in developing Lotus trim and engine specialists Brembo braking system for the sportier version of 'Astra, GTC, equipped with the 2-liter turbo with 240 hp, which will debut in early 2011.

Several things to announce from Carrera of America.

Target will carry a GO!!! Police Chase set and an exclusive GO!!! Disney "Cars" licensed slot set. Arrival in August.

Hobby Lobby is now carrying the following GO!!! sets, Mario/Peach Kart set Ref. 62206, the Nascar set 62076, the Police Chase set Ref. 62210, single cars in blisters and the 61600 expansion pack.

The Source in Canada will carry the Disney "Cars" licensed set and the Mario DS2 Kart set.


Carrera has also won the Dr. Toy Best Vacation Children's Product.

Carrera will be bringing in a number of the recently produced DTM's in BOTH 1/32 and GO!!!

Opel Meriva, New Diesel

They come from the 1.3 and 95 hp 1.7 and 130 hp from 110. In 2011 versions start-stop and bi-fuel.

Opel Meriva comes with new diesel engines. First on the compact 95 hp from the 1.3 CTDI Ecoflex, credited with an average distance of 22.5 km / liter, with emissions of 119 g / km of CO2. The 1.7 CTDI is updated with the versions from 110 hp (28.6 kgm) and 130 hp (30.7 kgm), both capable, according to the House, to travel 19.2 km / liter and emissions of 138 g / km of CO2.

The new 110 hp and 130 hp from the current 100-hp 1.7 present the new electronic D1, the low compression ratio, new injectors and turbo-date. 2011 will also come in versions of Start-Stop and the bi-fuel.

The Meriva is the first car ever to receive a certificate of approval by an independent association of physicians and experts in the back, called Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR), for its system ErgoFlex dedicated to the seats.
