Mazda CX5 Review and Concept
The Mazda CX-5 could be the first model to realize the Mazda SKYACTIV technology thanks to its corporate goal to combine driving pleasure and efficiency with each other perfectly.

New Mazda Dropping V6 Engine
Domestic car companies from cherry, Mazda Motor Corporation is rumored to be stopping the production of rotary engine said it would re-develop a machine that characterizes Mazda cars.
Carscoop reported, Thursday, April 19, 2012, Mazda is currently providing a choice of V6 engines pinned on the Mazda6 sedan and Mazda CX-9 crossover. But for the next generation of Mazda, V6 engine will not continue.
Mazda's senior vice president of the United States Robert Davis justify it. "We have no plans to develop a V6 engine under SkyActive machine," Davis said.
Davis continued that focus on making the Mazda car with large dimensions and lightweight, and offers 4-cylinder turbocharged engine.
When asked about the future of rotary engine, Davis said, Mazda continues to make the application of rotary technology development with the same abilities with SKYACTIV a more fuel efficient.
"Mazda will explore the idea of using the latest rotary engine with an electric drive," said Davis. Rotary engines have advantages over conventional machines. Despite having a small capacity engine, but produces great power.

Mazda5 minivans recalled over fuel pump concerns
This recall focuses on the van’s fuel pump, with NHTSA citing that water may not have been completely removed from the pump’s harness connector before vehicle assembly. Thus, the connector pin may corrode, causing the pin to break. If the harness connector breaks, this could lead to an inoperative fuel pump. The Mazda5′s engine could stall, and the inability to restart the engine increases the risk of a crash.
Approximately 16,200 of the Mazda minivans are effected by this problem, and the safety recall is expected to begin on or before December 11th. Mazda2 Certainly Present in Indonesia
Mazda Motor Corporation and Ford Motor Company collaborate to build and operate car factory in Thailand that named by Auto Alliance Thailand (AAT). The factory was inaugurated on Monday, July 13, 2009. Area of land reached 326,314 square meters and expenses USD 500 million, placed in Rayong’s industrial Seatboard Eastern Industrial Estate, Thailand. The factory can produce 275,000 units passenger car per year, such as Mazda2, Ford Fiesta, Mazda BT-50, Ford Ranger and Ford Everest. Mazda2 will be sold in Indonesia are also produced in this factory.
PT. Mazda Motor Indonesia declares the completion of a factory in Thailand; the Mazda2 will entry to Indonesia auto market soon, at least the end of this year. Mazda CX 9 Debuting at 2009
The Mazda has booth expect to see a new 2010 Mazdaspeed3, the updated 2010 CX-7 and a just announced 2010 CX-9.
While there isn’t much information on the new CX-9, Mazda does say it received an exterior/interior refresh and some new options and safety features. Judging from the single quarter-profile shot provided above, the CX-9’s exterior refresh amounts to some minor cosmetic surgery to the front lower lip. The result is probably the least successful transference of Mazda’s controversial “smile” design language to an existing model. Both the CX-7 and new MX-5 Miata look more natural sporting the new design element.
Mazda said the “zoom-zoom” driving characters were also improved on the CX-9, which probably means they dialed in the tuning a bit. As for interior enhancements, the CX-7 received higher quality materials and a new gauge cluster. Maybe something similar is in store for the CX-9, which already is quite luxurious inside. It won Cars. com’s Family Car of the Year in 2008, and its upscale interior was one reason it garnered the award. We’ll have more information on the changes when we travel to the New York auto show next month.
