Goodyear, Tire With Air Maintenance Technology (ATM)

New breakthrough technology results Tires Air Maintenance Technology (ATM) Development and will automatically measure the air pressure in it. That results from the development of Goodyear Tire one of the leading brands.
Goodyear has been showcased in full in the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in the past.

Goodyear ATM is the result of development in the laboratory for 2 years. At the Geneva Motor Show Exhibition visitors can see how the tire was fixed at the optimal pressure without having to check the tire pressure with an external device. Maintained tire pressure will affect the reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions further, because the optimal tires make the car move will also be optimal. Unlike Wind tire shortage that resulted in engine performance becomes more severe so wasteful and more polluting fuels

AMT development based on research at Goodyear Dunlop Europe that consumers did not care about their tire pressure. Half of those surveyed did not know when to check air pressure in their tires, and one of three riders said he did not think to check their tire pressure, even before embarking on long trips. AMT technology will help motorists to ensure and maintain optimum tire pressure. The result is claimed to save fuel, 2.5 percent - 3.3 percent. Furthermore, AMT claimed to save 57 liters of fuel per year for vehicle users who travel frequently enough.
