Opel Meriva comes with new diesel engines. First on the compact 95 hp from the 1.3 CTDI Ecoflex, credited with an average distance of 22.5 km / liter, with emissions of 119 g / km of CO2. The 1.7 CTDI is updated with the versions from 110 hp (28.6 kgm) and 130 hp (30.7 kgm), both capable, according to the House, to travel 19.2 km / liter and emissions of 138 g / km of CO2.
The new 110 hp and 130 hp from the current 100-hp 1.7 present the new electronic D1, the low compression ratio, new injectors and turbo-date. 2011 will also come in versions of Start-Stop and the bi-fuel.
The Meriva is the first car ever to receive a certificate of approval by an independent association of physicians and experts in the back, called Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR), for its system ErgoFlex dedicated to the seats.
